ABOUT

merrowfolk are an indie folk rock collective from the Glasgow DIY and Scottish festival scene. Initially gathered around Irish singer-songwriter Mima Merrow’s solo project, their palpable chemistry, wide-ranging musical influences and intoxicating sound has seen them grow into one of Glasgow’s most exciting new bands.

Their debut single, 'Beckoning Back' released in August 26 was made BBC Introducing Scotland Track of the Week and their following singles have received criitcal acclaim from Loud Women, BBC Scotland, You Call That Radio? and others.

Already experienced in the live circuit in Scotland and Ireland, merrowfolk have developed and expanded their live sound over the past four years, wowing audiences with their energetic shows at Belladrum, Stendhal Music, Knockengorroch, and Back Doune the Rabbit Hole and many more.
